Christmas Time is Here!

A few days before Christmas my mom, sister and her family came over to celebrate. I made a 10 pound prime rib with all the fixings along with 3 pies. I have to toot my horn and say this girl can cook! Our belly's were happy. I love spending time with my family. We are extremely close and always have a fun time. I also love that our kids are so close and love each other so much.

Christmas Eve night Santa worked hard to put presents under the tree...

...and Christmas morning was greeted with two very excited kids!

It's funny watching children that are overwhelmed and not sure on what to do next. It's like they took a 5 hour energy drink and spiked it with speed!

"Can you open this? How about this? And ooooh what about this one? I just love this...it's what I always wanted."

"Really?...You really wanted the bag we put all of the used wrapping paper in?"

"Yeah, I asked Santa to get it for me."

"No you didn't! You asked him for lipstick and Holden asked for a puppy" (not specifying real or pretend).

The rest of Christmas day was spent with our friends The Ramm's. I once again made a delicious meal...bacon wrapped turkey with all the goods.

It was a thing of beauty. It was nice to be surrounded by great company, good food and happy kids.

I am so grateful that we are able to provide a happy healthy home and a joyous Christmas. We are so blessed in so many ways and our thankful for wonderful family and friends. We hope this Christmas brings you an abundant amount of joy, comfort, and delight this holiday season.
