Carving Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins is one of those projects that starts off fun and has a rewarding finish but everything in between is laborious. Do we all agree?

Watching Ayla and Holden clean out their pumpkins was a sight to see. Holden was in his element digging and playing with the insides as all the threads and mashing of the pumpkin guts squished between his fingers. He was in heaven! Ayla on the other hand was a bit more delicate on how she handled her pumpkin. A big difference between a farm boy and a princess!

This year Ayla wanted to carve her pumpkin. She's become quite the artist and this fell into the category. She was pretty excited about choosing the design and using some of the tools. With the help of her dad Ayla was able to carve her own pumpkin. She was so proud of herself!

And voila we have pumpkins! Happy Fall!
