One of my favorite traditions is to cut down our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Although, it was slim pickings this year. Maybe the recession...couldn't afford enough seedlings? Or maybe those crazy shoppers who this year got really lucky as some stores opened at midnight. Seriously, what's next?...The mall food court will serve a Thanksgiving meal while you spend, spend, spend?
Even though our choices were limited we didn't end up with a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

We went with a few of our closest friends to a U-cut tree farm in Bremerton that has a beautiful view of the Olympic Mountains. The kids had a fun time running through the baby trees.

The tree farm has a cute little cider house that has a fireplace to get warm in. Ayla and Holden couldn't get enough of the delicious apple cider.
For those who know me knows that I don't only have one tree in my house but four. Why four? Glad you asked. Because that's what Christmas obsessed people do. And both the kids are spoiled rotten.Ayla and Holden were so excited to decorate the trees. They wanted to decorate the tree themselves and would put all the ornaments on the very lower half of the tree clumped in groups. Then Steve brought out the step ladder and all of a sudden I had professional ornament hangers.

After all is said and done we have four perfect Christmas trees to enjoy!
