A while back a few of us really wanted to go to a concert at the winery Chateau St. Michelle. We thought it would be really cool to lounge out on our picnic blankets eating fine cheese, bought from Safeway, and drinking countless bottles wine. The groups we really wanted to see didn't really work with every one's schedule. So we all decided to see Lyle Lovett. None of us being true fans and some of us only knowing a couple of songs didn't care it was Lyle Lovett. We were going to having a grown-ups night out without kids!
After driving for a hour and 45 minutes we arrived! Found a perfect spot on the grass and laid out three king size blankets and six chairs. We were clearly determined to make our presence known and take up a thousand square feet of floor space. We drank, ate a fabulous picnic dinner and people watched. Events like this are great for people watching. Especially when their drunk. And more so when they dance...the chicken dance that is! I love watching happy drunk people dancing to Lyle Lovett. And speaking of, Lyle was actually very entertaining. We had a great time being with our very special friends!
