8 Weeks to Go!

Well maybe. If he's impatient like Ayla (who came at 36 weeks) he'll come at anytime. And I need him to cook for at least 4 more weeks so that his lungs develop. He dropped about a week ago and I'm slightly freakin out. I blame it all on the "What to Expect" book and the Internet. I have to research everything. So I was reading up on "dropping" or what the experts call "lightning" and they say that with first pregnancies the baby will drop 2-4 weeks before delivery. With second and third the baby will drop right before delivery. WHAT?!!!! Not only has he dropped but I've been having 4-5 braxton hicks contractions every hour. How do I stop this? How can I pop him out of my pelvic zone? I have to pee every 10 minutes and every time I sneeze I have to cross my legs like a 3 year old so that I don't pee myself. The one thing I like about him being low is that I can finally eat and breath. To be able to take more than 2 bites of something and actually get a full meal is great. Oh, and to take deep breaths and feel like I'm not suffocating is great too.

I can remamber being pregnant with Ayla, she would give me gentle loving kicks as if to say "hi mommy I'm here". But with this little guy it's like he's playing tackle football. He kicks really hard and is always twisting and turning. And it really hurts. I swear baby's got back cause his butt is breaking skin. I just hope this isn't a sign of what's to come.

One thing is for sure...I can't wait to hold my sweet baby boy. I am getting more and more anxious to meet him and bring him home!

The nursery is about finished. We just need to add some nick nacks and a few pictures on the wall. We went with a very boyish theme...airplanes. It's super cute in person and Ayla loves lying on the plush rug checking out all the airplanes.
