I Got Tagged By Alecia

Oooh how fun is this...I get to tell you 6 random things about me! Then I get to tag 6 people, which will be hard since I only know a few of you in the blog world. I've never done this before and let me tell you how special I feel that Alecia chose me! So here it goes:

6 Random Things About Me

1.) I have a major shoe fetish. I own over 125 pairs of shoes! When I was single and living in the city I would buy a new pair every week. And twice a year I go through them and rid of the ones I haven't worn in a year. About 90% of my shoes have heels. Being 5 feet tall (OK fine 4 feet 11 and 3 quarters) I feel it necessary to be in a beautiful pair of stilettos. Of course I have the needed colors like black and brown but I also have shoes in gold, silver, pink and leopard print. I just

2.) Every morning I put Sally Hansen cuticle oil on my fingers and toes.

3.) When I was 22 I got a ticket for not having my windows defrosted. I was on my way to work one winter morning and just scraped the front windshield since I was in a hurry. I made one stop literally across the street from where I was living to get a phone number to a new nail place. I saw the cop sitting there ready to get someone. Not thinking anything of it I pulled in, got out of my car and wrote down the number. Got back into my car and put the car in reverse and there he was right behind me with his lights on. "What did I do"? Let me just say I was technically still in a parked position and hadn't moved an inch. He of course asked why he was so called "pulling me over" and my reply was "I have no clue". He told me because I had every intention of driving with my windows frosted and that I was getting a ticket. Of course when he was done writing it my windows were clear as day. I contested it of course and luckily knew the judge who then dropped it. But just count on those Normandy Park cops to get you for anything. JERKS!

4.) I get my nails done every 2 weeks and have so since I was 15. If I calculate the amount of money I have spent on my nails alone it roughly comes to $13,650.00! Holy SHIT! Thank GOD I cut back on the Starbucks!

5.) I love the sound of rain. But I love foggy, cold, dark raining mornings more. It makes me want to put on a cozy pair of sweats and sit by the fire and watch a good movie or read a book...and drink hot cocoa. My favorite time of year is fall and I am so ready for it. I almost put up my fall decorations the other day. But I'll wait until September 1st for pumpkins and fall leaves and the smell of mulled cider...and hearty stews and crockpot cooking. Fall is the beginning of the holiday season and I'm all about that. I just love how the leaves change color to fresh snow on the ground.

6.) I will only shop at Safeway. Albertsons makes me want to puke every time I go by the meat section. They always feel the need to display every kind of meat possible. We don't have a good QFC here and a Whole Foods...yeah right. And no Trader Joe's either. So when I do go to the grocery store I always start in the produce section. I start with the fruits and then move onto the vegetables. I then grab my 3 cases of Aqua Fina water and move over to the meat section. I usually always avoid the health/organic section. I work my way up an isle checking things out on the one side and then turn around and check things out on the other side. I always avoid going to the next isle at the front of the store. It's always crazy traffic busy with the registers. And come to think of it I avoid the motor isle and toilet paper isle too. I buy that stuff at Target or Costco. Oh, and no need in the animal isle or the cosmetic/baby isle. Or the pharmacy/drug isle. I strictly go there for food. And I end up in the bakery section. Don't want to squish my bread you know. Once at the registers I organize my stuff...cold with cold, fruits and vegges, heavy stuff first, bread on top...that way when I get home it's more efficient to put stuff away.

There you have it. And being that I don't know 6 bloggers and am to lazy to pick strangers I chose 3 people I do know:

1. Desiree

2. Christi

3. Angela
