Bainbridge Island Update

A couple of years ago Steve and I were on the search of a place where we could build our dream home. We came across this beautiful 2.5 acre piece of property on Bainbridge Island. It was a forest then but was very private and secluded. You felt far but yet close to your neighbors. We hired an excavator to clear out the trees where the house would be built and do the dig out as well. A year past and the clearing wasn't fully complete. This was definitely a problem being that we were paying for a house that wasn't even there. So in February we started a lengthy lawsuit againt the excavator which lasted til October 2007. At this point so much time and money had been wasted that we decided that this would not be our dream home location but that we would still build a house for resale. So in November we hired a new excavator, a new builder with new plans and construction went under way this past January.

The house will be about 5700 sq. feet and is scheduled to be complete in early June. It'll have 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a theater room, a bonus room, 2 living rooms, an office and a wine cellar. It's the perfect house for hide-and-seek!
