This past Saturday a really great friend of mine had a canning pickle party. She showed us from beginning to end how to make our own pickles. And let me tell you I have a whole new level of respect for people that can pickles. I had no idea how much went into making pickles. It all starts with washing the cucumbers
then cutting them

then filling jars with all the stuff that makes it taste good

then filling the jars with a special brine

then soaking them in a hot water bath and whalah!...you have your very own specially made pickles that I will giving you for Christmas!

Thank you so much Senovia for sharing with me your secret pickle recipe. I will never again buy pickles at the store. Only because I have enough to last me forever!
