For All You Ghost Whisperer Fans...

I know! You can't believe your eyes, right? It truly is David Conrad from the Ghost Whisperer!

Don't hate me. Just be jealous that I spent a Saturday evening with a hottie.

David totally caught me by surprise when he showed up for sushi Saturday night. I was star struck for about 5 minutes when he waltzed into the kitchen. It was like he came towards me in slow motion. With his dark thick hair blowing from the air vents above and that athletic built body which I'm sure he got playing tennis on The Wedding Crashers and I swear those blue eyes could shatter glass. He. Was. David Conrad. And he flew up just to see little ol' me. What a sweet guy. We made sushi together. He let me touch his hair. Which "they" never let you do. We laughed together...

He whispered sweet nothings in my ear...

Literally. Sweet. Nothings.

Ok, So David didn't fly up to Seattle to see me. But a girl can dream, right? Actually he came up to visit his brother and his family for the weekend. Sally, his sister-in-law, is a really good friend of mine.

I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the Ghost Whisperer. Sorry David. It 's the whole talking to dead people, spirits and ghost. All reverts back to the fears. Just not my thing.

Actually when David came into the kitchen I was shocked. And by shocked I mean I got a little nervous. You know, the kind when you get really really hot. I knew he was in town but the last thing I expected was that him and his brother would want to come and have sushi with a bunch of whacked out stay-at-home moms. But there he was. Just standing there looking like, well, David. Very laid back. Not Hollywood at all. Intelligent. Really handsome. And truly just your average everyday kind of guy. He was easy to talk to. My conversation with him went something like this:

The scene: Kitchen about 6:30pm

David: "Hi, I'm David"

Me: "Hi" (shaking hands)

And then there was this conversation:

The Scene: Living Room about 10pm

Me: "It was really nice to meet you"

David: "You to"

Not bad for a mute like me. Thank God Steve was there to talk about submarines and stuff. David was a hoot and I am glad to have met him. He's just so lovely!
