Happy 2008!!!

I thought I would try something new for the new year. I have tried about fifty times to create a blogspot and have always ended up deleting it because I couldn't figure out what to say or how to make my template look cool. So I thought I would try again...so here it goes...

New Years Resolutions:

1. Lose 10 pounds

2. Save money

3. Teach Ayla to recite all the presidents

4. Lose 10 pounds

5. Save money

And Oh

6. Get pregnant

Happy 2008! It's been a blast so far! Ayla is almost walking and has a few words in her vocabulary. She's really into playing peek-a-boo and the "uh oh" game where she throws everything including food on the floor, looks up at you with those big blue eyes and say "uh oh". All you can do is laugh which in turn she laughs and does it all over again. In December she turned one and of course had a big party. Ever since her first birthday she's been like a sponge picking up on things you say and do.

As for us...Steve is starting a new engineering postion with the shipyard doing vibration analysis for the subs. He'll be doing real estate part time with John L Scott which is great cause it's something he loves. And me well I'm doing the staging thing more now as a hobby than a job. I'm much better at playing the role of "Domestic Goddess"! I have to say that I am very blessed to be able to stay home with Ayla and that is one thing I would not trade, ever. This year we are planning for baby #2 so keep your fingers crossed.
